Electromagnetic brakes
The Warner Electric brake range covers every industrial braking requirement: from the WR and EB series for standard applications, to the Pan-Cake and AP solutions for tight spaces, through to the ERX series for demanding environments. Fail-safe spring-applied brakes stop the load in the event of a power failure, making them the standard choice for applications with functional safety requirements.
Electromagnetic clutches
Warner Electric SF (parallel shafts) and SFC (coaxial shafts) clutches use a stationary field design that eliminates slip rings and brushes. Maximum robustness in environments with vibration, dust or moisture, with no maintenance costs. Torque range from 0.5 to over 1,800 Nm.
CB and EM series clutch/brake combinations
The CB and EM modules combine clutch and brake in a single compact component, with stopping accuracy guaranteed within ±0.5° at 1,800 rpm. Self-contained, they mount directly onto C-face motors or gearboxes, with no lubrication required. Typical applications: rotary tables, print heads, cut-off systems.
Controls, sensors and web tension systems
Control units and controllers for 12/24/90 VDC and 115 VAC, compatible with the main automation systems. For printing and converting, the web tension range offers an integrated clutch–control–sensor solution for precise control of web and reel tension.
Torque limiters, hydraulic and pneumatic clutches
For high-torque applications, Warner Electric offers mechanical and permanent magnet torque limiters — which operate without an electrical supply — and a range of hydraulic and pneumatic clutches and brakes for presses, rolling mills and heavy process machinery. Also available in ATEX versions for potentially explosive atmospheres.
