Speed Reducer
A speed reducer is a mechanical device consisting of a series of gears housed within a casing. This device reduces the rotational speed from an input shaft (called the high-speed shaft) to an output shaft (called the low-speed shaft) based on the required reduction ratio. Speed reducers are mechanical devices that decrease rotational speed while increasing torque. They are essential when an electric motor produces a speed that is too high for the desired application. By reducing the speed, the speed reducer increases the torque, allowing the system to move heavier loads or operate with greater precision.
